We keep our fees below the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia (CAA) recommendations. We also offer concession pricing for full-time students, pensioners and families.

If X-rays are required to be taken the fee will be covered by Medicare (Bulk Billed).
We make it easier for our members to afford quality health care by accepting credit card and the use of the HICAPS system.

We are open extended hours so that we can best serve you. We are open 6 days a week, so you can get the care you require, as you need it. Many of our members come from across Sydney to take advantage of our affordable pricing, flexible hours and professional approach to health.
HOW MUCH DOES A CHIROPRACTOR COST?
Here at The Back Clinic we aim to make chiropractic care affordable and accessible for the entire community. The standard visit to a chiropractor around the Sydney CBD, usually for a chiropractic adjustment, may average between the $60-$90 price point. Here at The Back Clinic we price our standard visits at $80.
Our prices aim to make chiropractic more affordable and accessible to all, while always providing you with a professional and personable service. We have helped thousands of members improve their health since our opening back in 2003.
HOW MUCH WILL CHIROPRACTIC COST ME IN THE LONG RUN?
There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors, such as what your goals are and the frequency with which you undergo care. Speaking generally, chiropractic adjustments are usually repeated as part of a program of care, as recommended by your chiropractor. Spinal adjustments, usually performed to increase motion or improve function, may take time to produce a desired change or effect posture in a beneficial way.
If your goals relate to the management of pain, seeing a chiropractor over the medium term may be appropriate. If you decide to continue with chiropractic care because you may be enjoying the benefits, longer-term options may be preferable.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL FROM A G.P TO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR?
No, you do not need a referral from a G.P to see a chiropractor. In Australia, chiropractors are primary healthcare professionals. This means that you can consult directly with our team of chiropractors.
DO CHIROPRACTORS ACCEPT MEDICARE?
We often get asked by patients ‘do chiropractors accept medicare?’ and the answer is yes, but it’s a qualified yes. Here at The Back Clinic, we bulk bill your diagnostic imaging (X-rays) if they are required. We can also bulk bill Chronic Disease Management plan consultations.
Now in some specific cases, your G.P. may prepare a Chronic Disease Management Plan, a government health program that was formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care. Patients with chronic health issues (experienced for at least 6 months) may be eligible for x5 visits to a chiropractor, per year, through this program.
DO CHIROPRACTORS ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?
Yes we accept all health funds. We make it easier for you to make same day, instant health fund claims using our onsite HICAPS system.
