About Siham Abubeker
As a chiropractor, the reason why I do what I do is because I genuinely care about the well-being of others. Seeing the positive impact that chiropractic care can have on someone’s life is incredibly rewarding. I believe in the body’s innate ability to heal itself, and by restoring balance and promoting natural healing, I can empower individuals to live healthier and happier lives.
As someone who has always prioritised an active lifestyle and health, naturally I have always wanted to work in the healthcare industry from a young age. I was drawn to this profession because I have passion for helping others and improving their well-being. I had never actually seen a Chiropractor until I started studying it. Being a current chiropractic student, I enjoy the hands on nature of the work and the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives. It is a rewarding profession that allows me to work closely with patients and see first-hand the positive changes and seeing the difference in people’s lives.
Working as a CA is a great experience and no two days are the same. I get to be part of a team that helps people to improve their health and well-being. I also get to interact with patients, build relationships and see firsthand the positive impact that chiropractic care can have on their lives. I am fortunate to have role that aligns with my current study at University and allows me to learn more about the profession from experienced Chiropractors.
The biggest advantage is being able to learn from experienced chiropractors and seeing their different treating modalities. At The Back Clinic there are several chiropractors to look up to and learn from. They each provide guidance and share their knowledge and expertise and help me to develop my interpersonal skills and grow as both a student and person. It is a valuable learning experience that can help accelerate growth and set you up for success.
If you’re interested or considering in chiropractic as a profession to pursue, I would suggest to make the most out of the time spent studying at University and actively engage in extracurricular seminars and events. Take the time to network with other chiropractors in the field and to always ask questions and never stop learning. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills in order to become the best that you can be.
