FIND THE BEST CHIROPRACTOR IN SYDNEY WITH THESE 7 TIPS
Do you experience lower back pain? Perhaps you have tension headaches or feel that your posture is a little off?
You may be looking for a chiropractor but what exactly should you be looking for and how do you find out if a chiropractor may help with your particular health challenge?
We have prepared the information on this page to guide you through some of these considerations while providing answers to questions commonly asked by our members. Read on for our tips on how you can find the best chiropractor – and if you’re in Sydney or Western Sydney, why not come down and visit one of our clinic locations to find out more!
1) WHAT CONDITIONS DO CHIROPRACTORS COMMONLY HELP WITH?
You may be looking for a chiropractor near you because of that lower back pain that just won’t go away, or because you need a new injury looked at. It is a great idea to consult with a chiropractor on these types of issues, but did you also know that chiropractor often helps a wider variety of health challenges?
Some common conditions that chiropractors may be able to help you with include:
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Hip pain
- Joint pain
- Headaches and migraine pains
- A variety of sporting injuries
- Sciatica and nerve pain
- Poor posture
- Help after car accidents
- Back pain experienced when pregnant
To find out more about any of these health challenges and how The Back Clinic may help, contact our team today.
2) ASK FOR PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
How do you find the right chiropractor for you and your family? This is a common question and we understand that choosing a family chiropractor can be a very important, and personal decision. A good place to start can be asking your family and friends for personal recommendations on who their chiropractor is, and why. You may also get a professional recommendation from your local G.P. or health practitioner on who they view as trustworthy and professional.
Now you may need to exercise some caution, as one person’s idea of their best chiropractor may be somewhat different to what you are looking for. While personal recommendations may be valuable in some cases, it is important that you also consider looking for a chiropractor that may be better able to meet your specific needs.
With that mentioned, here are some other important considerations for you to think about when it comes to choosing your best chiropractor.
3) PHONE YOUR POTENTIAL CHIROPRACTOR AND ASK A RANGE OF QUESTIONS
Before starting chiropractic care, it may be worthwhile calling up your prospective chiropractor or asking for an initial in-clinic consultation to find out more about the clinic, the chiropractor/s and how chiropractic care may benefit you. You can call us today.
In some cases, your new chiropractor may want to find out more about you, your health challenge and your health or lifestyle goals, to determine if they may help you.
Here at The Back Clinic, we offer all new patients x2 complimentary visits to allow you to feel comfortable with our team of professional and personable chiropractors. We also encourage you to ask any questions they may have, so we can determine if we can help you, or not.
4) WHAT QUESTIONS SHOULD YOU ASK A NEW CHIROPRACTOR?
One of the most important considerations when deciding on a new chiropractor is how comfortable you are going to feel with the chiropractor. Also, whether you have a positive experience in the clinic.
Some common questions you may want to ask your chiropractor may include:
- How much is your first visit?
- What do your first few visits involve?
- Do you have male and female chiropractors available?
- What qualifications do you have?
- What will you recommend in my case?
- How many years have you been in practice?
5) CONSIDER THESE 6 ANSWERS
In order to make it easier for you to choose the best chiropractor for you, the team at The Back Clinic have provided answers to the following questions for you, as they related to our service. Please read the answers below.
How much is your first visit?
$0 for your first x2 visits. Our standard chiropractic sessions are $65 thereafter. Find out more about our affordable pricing here.
What do your first few visits involve?
At The Back Clinic, we offer all new patients x2 free visits. During your first x2 free visits, you will receive a thorough chiropractic check-up; we will take a health history and address your current symptoms.
It is also important to point out that your ‘symptoms’ may be just the ‘tip of the ice-berg’, and they may be indicative of underlying health issues that need to be addressed.
You may also receive diagnostic imaging (X-rays) if required, which are covered by Medicare. We will provide you with our best recommendations for care and let you know if we can help, or not.
Do you have male and female chiropractors available?
Yes, our team consists of both male and female chiropractors. Find out more about our team here.
What qualifications do you have?
In general, Australian chiropractors are University trained primary healthcare practitioners who study for five years. They are also government registered and government regulated health professionals. You can view our teams qualifications, focus areas and interests here.
What will you recommend in my case?
While we can’t provide answers to that question here, it is certainly a question you should ask us.
How many years have you been in practice?
The Back Clinic was officially opened in 2003 and in that time, we have helped thousands of people, right across Sydney and Western Sydney, to address and overcome their health challenges.
6) LOCATE A CHIROPRACTOR NEAR YOU
If you can’t make it to one of our Back Clinic locations (which we hope you do), why not find a chiropractor near you using the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia website here. You will be able to search for a member chiropractor in your local area.process.
7) REVIEW A CHIROPRACTOR’S WEBSITE
You should review a potential chiropractor’s website to see how much information they provide and if they make it easy for you to find all the information you may be after. Some important points to look for when reviewing a chiropractic website include:
- Easy to identify contact details (names, address, phone number, contact forms)
- A team page, showing the chiropractor/s profile, brief biography and some information about their clinic
- Qualifications and any relevant accreditations
- Years in practice
- The types of conditions they commonly help with
- Active social media accounts
We hope that the information provided on this page will help you in choosing the chiropractor that is best able to help.
